As a result, she avoided parties or fun activities to focus solely on paying back her debt. According to Janet, she couldn’t earn GHS2000 in Ghana.  Her sister’s kindness has pushed her to a greater height, and for that, she is grateful.

“I made $1500 monthly working at a court. I converted it to Ghana Cedis, and it was a huge sum. I focused on work to pay my debt faster, so I could keep that money. I worked full-time at two jobs for three years, and I’, still doing it,” she noted.

Miss Owusu added that her strategy has helped her settle the debt, and I’ve built a house in Ghana for her sister.
