UK-based Ghanaian Lincoln Bamfo has revealed that he made 45,000 pounds as a bus driver and shared some insight into his job.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, Lincoln indicated that his job has helped him and encouraged others who wish to travel to the UK to learn how to drive because it pays.
“Learn how to drive before you travel because it helps a lot. You can work with Uber or Amazon if you have documents. You can make quick money from driving. As a senior driver, I made more than 45,000 pounds in a year.”
Speaking on his work, Lincoln mentioned that it is a strict job that requires rules to be observed. Unlike Ghana and many African countries, bus drivers in the UK take refreshing courses every 5 years.
“We use two driving licenses and take courses. Something like that can be done in Ghana in different languages. The buses in the system now are electric without mirrors so we need to learn new things. That is why there are fewer accidents here,” he added.
