US-based Ghanaian Adwoa Asantewaa has stated that Ghanaians in the US suffer more than those living in Ghana, and she explains why.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA, Asantewaa indicated that Ghanaians have it easier than those living abroad because the system is different. She added they work two jobs in the US because their system demands it.
In her final words to Ghanaians who wished to travel abroad for greener pastures, Asantewaa disclosed that “if you don’t have any plan, skills or any proper education, then go back. Think again if you’re selling your property to travel because it’s tough You may end up homeless.”
“Life abroad is not easy. Do you know that we suffer more than those living in Ghana? How many have you heard of someone working two jobs in Ghana? But you do it here,” she said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.
Adwoa Asantewaa revealed more about her story in the US. According to her, she was jobless for her first year in America. Eventually, she became homeless and hungry for days. Currently, she manages her restaurant in Ohio.
