Greece-based Ghanaian Ernest stated that he regretted his decision to travel abroad when he had a good business in Ghana and revealed that he was jobless in Greece for months but could not leave.
Ernest first landed in Turkey and immediately regretted his decision. According to him, it was below his expectation, but he had to move forward because there were no good jobs in Turkey.
After a while in Turkey, he travelled to Greece, where he met a few Ghanaians, but it was only a transit point to Europe. However, Ernest had no money to make the trip.
“I stayed in Greece for a while, but I tried to leave twice and failed. Twice by land and twice by air, but they arrested me both times. I tried by land twice, but we were deported. So I thought maybe I was not supposed to be staying here. They beat us up at the Macedonia border,” he said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA, Ernest mentioned some Ghanaian footballers that supported him in Greece. He appreciated Michael Essien, Wakaso and others for supporting him financially when he had no job in Greece.
