UK-based Ghanaian Tracy Thompson has disclosed that she would not have accepted to date her current boyfriend if he was undocumented, and she stated reasons for that.
According to Tracy, she had a heart-wrenching experience and would never allow that again. Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Tracy revealed that her ex-husband married her for ‘papers’ and divorced her after he got it.
From that experience, she decided to inquire about his documentation in the talking stage.
“I’m seeing someone at the moment, and he has everything. No paper, no love, baby. That’s the foundation. If you don’t have it, what are we doing? We’re not even going to talk. What will we talk about,” she quizzed.
Tracy indicated that she might even check his passport for final verification “because if you fall in love and help him with the paper. He might leave you later, and you’ll never know his true intention until they get it.”
