Switzerland-based Ghanaian Edward Nyamekye shared his journey from Ghana through Libya to Europe and revealed some unforgettable memories with SVTV AFRICA.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Edward disclosed that a French prostitute took him in but had to vacate the room whenever she had clients.
According to Edward, he first landed in Italy after crossing the Mediterranean Sea and eventually left the asylum camp for France.
“Immediately I got to Paris, a French woman picked me up and took me home. I did not know her, but she was pretty. Unknowingly, she was a sex worker.
She took me home, and I stayed with her for weeks.
So whenever she had a client, she would lock me up in the bathroom till she finished,” he revealed.
Edward had just arrived in France from Italy and had no place to stay. He stayed a while and moved on to another.
At a point in his voyage, he was detained for about six weeks and almost deported for travelling without proper documents.
