Seth Twumasi is the former premier league player, Christian Atsu’s barber. He speaks about the footballer’s whereabouts.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Seth mentioned that reports stating that Christian had been found are false. He said, “the reports aren’t true. When it happened, I called him, but it didn’t go through. So I contacted another team member, and he confirmed they were still looking.”
“After the reports came, I called another Ghanaian player, Bernard Mensah. He visited the hospitals in the area to check, and Christian was not there. We are still waiting on the rescue team,” he revealed.
According to Seth, the Turkish authorities warned them of the disaster. He mentioned that the authorities advised citizens to stay in the parks and on plain grounds to avoid casualties.
Moreover, the barber stated that “the atmosphere is gloomy. Everyone is heartbroken, and many offices are closed because they’ve warned that it’ll happen again.”
Seth has been working with the former Black Stars player for about four months.
