A young lady captured on video twerking at Shatta Wale’s ’Shaxi’ brand activation float has been identified as the CEO of Bright Life Entertainment, organisers of brand activations and road shows.
In an interview on SVTV AFRICA, Grace Sunshine mentioned that many netizens rained insults and called her jobless and desperate for her dance. Grace owns the business and runs it with her husband. He usually drives the truck during these road shows.
“We are road show organisers. We organise road shows for businesses and brands. I was available that day and decided to dance as well. That’s just how I dance. It’s a form of exercise for me. There were dancers around too.”
Sunshine is also the leader of the De Eish Dance Crew. Her company, Bright Life, was launched 12 years ago and has worked with several brands like Vodafone, MTN, etc. Speaking about the negative comments, Sunshine noted that she replied to some netizens but deleted them upon her husband’s request.
“I run the business with my husband, and he is comfortable with what I do as long as I’m not naked. He only complained that I didn’t dance well at the float and encouraged me to do it better. We met on the job 12 years ago, and we have five kids together,” she disclosed.
Apart from Bright Life Entertainment, Sunshine owns an eatery that caters to events as well.
