Evangelist Samuel Marfo AKA Misty Coke has stated that Ghana cannot develop with prayers but with hard work, love and unity.
Speaking on SVTV Africa, Misty Coke mentioned that leaders must have enough love for the citizens to ensure the development of the country. He indicated that prayers can not solve the country’s problems but hard work and love.
“If you read the Bible, you will realise that it is not prayers but love that can transform the country. Prayer cannot help you face anyone but love and mercy. The only thing that can help us grow in Christ is love, not love. Loving is a job, and you cannot love someone without giving them a job. You cannot live by prayers,” he said.
Moreover, Misty Coke noted that keeping fast is good, but Christians do not show love to others despite prayers. The Evangelist said that people think Christianity is a scam because they do not fully understand and do not practise what they preach.
“We keep fast to feel empathy for those who have no food. That is why God said he does not regard our fasting anymore because we do not feed the hungry or clothe the naked. We keep fast to sympathize with those who are hungry because you felt the same when you fasted,” he added.
