20-year-old Jamila came to the capital city, Accra, to work and save enough to further her education.
A few weeks ago, SVTV Africa’s DJ Nyaami interviewed Jamila, and she revealed that her parents do not have the finances to support her education.
As a result, she came to Accra to save up to GHS1500 to further her education. She indicated that she makes GHS50 daily and has been able to save GHS700 already. According to Jamila, she only needs GHS1500 to return home and complete her Junior High School Education.
DJ Nyaami and SVTV Africa Foundation have supported Jamila with GHS1000 to go back home to further her education.
“I already have GHS700 saved. Thank you, and may God bless you for the money. Now I can go back home. I’ll go back to the North on Monday,” she said.
