Pure water seller Dorothy Frimpong has received GHS2500 from patrons of the SVTV Africa Foundation.
After her first interview on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, the single mother of three mentioned that she sells pure water in traffic to cater to them. According to Dorothy, she makes GHS6 per bag and noted that she has to sell more a day to support her kids.
After the interview, a Ghanaian viewer living abroad decided to support and encourage her for their hard work. Through SVTV Africa Foundation, Dorothy received GHS2500.
“All I want to say is God Bless her. As I’m speaking to you, two of my children have been sacked from school for arrears. May God Bless her and grant her more money.
Thank you to SVTV Africa too. I didn’t want to do the interview that day, but I got the support through it,” Dorothy said amidst tears.
