Known for his funny reaction videos on social media, Andrew Bossman, AKA Dada Boss, has stated that Ghanaian pastors must not depend on church offerings to survive.
In an interview on SVTV Africa, Dada Boss mentioned that since pastors don’t receive salaries, they must get a job to avoid burdening the church members.
According to Dada Boss, he decided to set up a business instead of a church because he did not want his church members to look down on him.
“There is no money in being a man of God. It is better to have your own money as a pastor so that you do not put your burden on the members. I also noticed that if you want to be respected by your members, you must have money,” he told DJ Nyaami.
However, Dada Boss stated that it might be tough for full-time evangelists to work, but others can.
“We have a pastor, teacher, evangelist, and Apostle. It will be tough for a full-time evangelist to work, but pastors and teachers can,” he noted.
Dada Boss revealed that he came to Accra as an evangelist and worked for a couple of years before getting onto social media. He indicated that he wants to grow his following on social media to broadcast God’s message.
