US-based Ghanaian Yaw Marfo has revealed that his girlfriends visited the Antoa shrine to invoke curses on themselves; it did not affect either of them but him.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Mr Marfo disclosed that he proposed to another lady as punishment for his girlfriend. However, when the women found out, they planned to curse one another, but Mr Marfo received the curses.
“I had a girlfriend, but I proposed to another, and when they found out, they cursed themselves at Antoa. But the curses came to me because I was the cause of them. My girlfriend was misbehaving, so I wanted to punish her a little, but I was affected in the end,” he said.
Yaw Marfo mentioned that he had to revoke the curses at the Antoa shrine.
“I started having weird dreams about being in a river. So the elders thought that it might be an effect of the curses the women invoked. So they killed hens and poured the blood into a river. The ladies’ curses were revoked except mine. They tried five times before it worked. I had to drink from the same river too.”
According to Mr Marfo, residents of Antoa Village do not invoke curses because of the effects of these curses and the trouble people go through to revoke the curses called on them.
