Oseikrom-based artiste Adu Flatelo has alleged that wealthy Ghanaians living abroad with properties in Ghana sell drugs, and he is no exception.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Flatelo revealed that he owns a hotel and a studio in Kumasi. These properties came from his earnings from selling hard drugs. Adu mentioned that he decided to become a drug dealer after quitting his day job which paid little.
“If you are supposed to take 2000 euros per month, you will only get 1200 or 1300 euros after they deduct taxes. That is why I decided to quit and sell the drugs. I did it for over ten years, and I thank God I was never arrested.
I made a lot of money and invested it in a recording studio and a hotel in Kumasi. I have a lot of assets in Kumasi, but I don’t talk about it,” Flatelo recounted.
According to the artiste, he would not have succeeded if he kept his job in Italy. Flatelo mentioned that many wealthy Ghanaians sold drugs for their wealth.
“It will be difficult to make money abroad without selling drugs. I can mention the names of people who sold drugs and moved back to Ghana. You can make 6000 euros a month from selling drugs. So you will make it,” he said on SVTV Africa.
Adu Flatelo is currently in Germany for a party in Berlin. Flatelo indicated that he prefers Ghana to abroad because he lives a comfortable life in Ghana. He boasted about using “a range rover sports car and what else would I need.”
