Dubai-based Ghanaian video director Kwabena Ballo has revealed that the CEO of OGB Music, Ogidi Brown, owes him Ghs8000 for shooting and directing a couple of his music videos.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Kwabena Ballo indicated that aside from music videos, he wrote Ogidi Brown’s 2019 released music ‘favour us’. According to Ballo, Ogidi Brown only paid Ghs1000 for the video and promised to reimburse him later, but he never did.
“I’m not saying to disgrace him, but he owes me almost Ghs8000. I will never lie about this. I used to charge Ghs3000 for a video, but he gave me Ghs1000 after each video and promised to pay later.
When you see Brown in the Wheelchair, you won’t think that he has a bad intention, and you will fall for whatever he says,” he told DJ Nyaami.
Moreover, Kwabena Ballo added that Ogidi Brown badmouthed him to a mutual friend and ruined their relationship.
“He told the white lady that I am a fraud boy. I was surprised, and it caused many problems between us because I didn’t expect that from Ogidi Brown. For the money, I will take it because I do not joke with my business despite everything he has done for me,” he reiterated.
The director disclosed that he shot many music videos for Ogidi Brown and his signee Cryme Officer including, ‘favour us,’ ‘true love,’ featuring Yaa Jackson.
