Visually impaired University of Ghana student Eliza Afia Martey received GHs3500 after her interview on SVTV Africa in January 2022.
In a more recent interview with DJ Nyaami, Eliza showed gratitude for the support fans and patrons of SVTV Africa Foundation gave her early this year.
“I paid half of my school and hostel fees. I also bought a few things and kept the rest as pocket money.”
According to Eliza, a UK based Ghanaian visited and gave her a treat on her birthday. She also thanked DJ Nyaami and the SVTV Africa Foundation team for the support.
“May God bless them and replenish the monies they spent on me. Stephen told me that he was coming to Ghana and bought me a white cane. Then he also took me out and gave me a treat with his wife.”
Eliza, however, mentioned that there were a few perverts who only wanted to get into her pants.
“Some told me that it is a cheat if they help me without getting sex, and I had to block most of them. An elderly man also called me on video and asked me to show him my boobs,” Eliza disclosed.
Presently, Eliza is in her third year studying Social Work and Education. She is an alumnus of Okuapeman School and hopes to further her education after her first degree.
