Former Hearts of Oak striker, Osei Milla has revealed that some teams consult fetish priests to help them succeed in football games.
In an exclusive on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Osei indicated despite his disbelief in ‘juju,’ it is compulsory for the whole team to be involved in it. According to Mila Osei, he never used voodoo, but he believed in the rosary his grandparent gave to him.
“When it comes to the whole team, you have no option. It is compulsory. Everyone has beliefs, and mine was a rosary. Once I wear it, I believe that I can score even if we lose the game. The spectators must go home with my name on their lips,” he said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.
The former striker disclosed what he got from playing in the Ghana Premier League before signing with a Qatar club. According to him, all he got was an Opel Astra car.
Milla Osei played for the Kotoko under 20 teams before moving to Hearts of Oak. While at Hearts, Milla was part of the team that won the CAF Confederation against Asante Kotoko.
