Ex-Hearts of Oak midfielder, Kenneth Sarpong has shared several reasons Ghana may lose a spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In an exclusive SVTV Africa, the former winger indicated that Nigeria has a 70% chance of winning because the Black Stars consist of relatively new players with a new coach.
“The thing is Ghana often shuffle the squad when we criticize. The coach is new, and his first match is with Nigeria. Ghana Versus Nigeria is like Kotoko and Hearts; it is a tough match.”
“We may qualify, but the chances are 70 -30 in favor of Nigeria because they have a better form. Their coach has been training with them for a long time, but our coach has been with them for a month,” Kenneth told DJ Nyaami.
However, the 2000 CAF Champions League and Super Cup winner added that despite Nigeria’s chances, “Black Stars may surprise the Super Eagles. Because it is against Nigeria, the Black Stars will try to prove a point, but Nigeria has a better form.”
