Dubai-based Ghanaian, Nana Asamoah Daakyi has revealed that the airport officials asked him to go home even after his Covid test came out positive.
In an exclusive interview on SVTV Africa, Nana Asamoah indicated that he has no plans of coming back home until the Covid situation is rectified. According to Asamoah, the authorities instructed him to go home, and that his passport will be delivered to him a week after.
“I was in Ghana last December, and I decided not to come back again. Because I had a Covid test before traveling, and I tested negative, but when I got to Ghana, they told me that my test was positive. After, they told me to go home and leave behind my passport.
How can you let me go and take my passport instead? I had to fill out some forms and leave my passport behind. I don’t know if it’s the passport that had covid or me?”
Nana Asamoah further stated that he may never come home until he sees better policies.
“I may only come to Ghana when I’m old because some of the policies are bad. There are a lot of Ghanaians abroad who don’t want to come back because of the bad structures,” he added.
Nana Asamoah is known for his viral video stating that he’d rather be bombed in Ukraine than come back to Ghana.
