A Nigerian lady based in Ghana, Glory has received GHc30,000 after pleading for support on SVTV Africa a few weeks ago.
On January 13, 2022, Glory shared her story with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa. According to Glory, she was invited to Ghana by a Nigerian pastor to work as a maid for 10k Naira (GHc 150) a month. However, she quit the job after two weeks of staying because of the workload.
Glory lived on the streets of Accra after leaving her former employer’s house. After her interview, she put out her contact, and the financial support that came in amounted to GHc30,000.
The fried yam seller has decided to invest the money into her business.
“I don’t want to enter school tomorrow and drop out. So I want to invest in the business so that when I save enough, it will help me in school. I want to open a provision shop,” she said.
Glory expressed gratitude for the amount of money she has received from generous people who watch SVTV Africa.
“All my life, I have never received such an amount of money before. I say a very big thank you because if not you, people all over the world would not have done me this favour,” she added.
