Hannah Brago Aseidu AKA Afia Bambi has revealed that she almost quit her start-up business to sleep with men for money.
In an interview on SVTV Africa, Afia indicated that she began selling pastries at church. However, it was not yielding many results as expected. According to her, she thought of following in the steps of her friends who date men solely for money. “While still selling at church, I became disappointed because I couldn’t make enough money to invest into the business. I used to sell a samosa for 50 pesewas so I could not buy anything. It was not enough.
Then I thought; I should stay home and do what my colleagues are doing. But my mom would always talk to us, and looking at where she started from, there is no way I will go around sleeping with men for money,” she said.
Afia Bambi added that most of her friends ridiculed her for selling pastries at church. According to Bambi, her friends told her she was too beautiful for such a job.
Bambi is the CEO of Mega Culinary; a food service that makes dishes and pastries on order.
