Nigerian model based in Ghana, Kachy has admitted that the education system in her home country is brutal and quite stressful compared to Ghana.
In an exclusive on SVTV Africa, the model stated that she came to Ghana to further her education after secondary education, and she has loved the experience so far!
She shared some formalities to gain admission into a tertiary institution.
“After SHS, you have to write the JAMB exams first, then that qualifies you for the post JAMB. After the post JAMB, you write the exam for the course you want to study. But there is still a 50% chance of getting the school.
The money used in finding your way through if you don’t make the first or second list is far more than the school fees. That’s why I decided to come here because it’s easier,” she told the host, DJ Nyaami.
Being here for eight years, Kachy affirmed the peace in Ghana.
“Ghana is peaceful. Not to say Nigeria isn’t, but the hustle and bustle there is different. In Ghana, you have to put in more effort if you are a foreigner. I’ve noticed that in Ghana, it’s more about networking,” she added.
Kachy is a Nigerian model and makeup artist. She studied and has lived in Ghana for the past eight years. She loves Stonebwoy and Oxlade. She also mentions which country (Ghana/Nigeria) she enjoys most.
