Young lady, Hilda Aku Ohene has disclosed that her father slapped her; causing her vision to be a blur and had to undergo surgery.
Speaking with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Hilda indicated that she lived with her father and stepmother. However, due to certain circumstances, Hilda’s father disallowed her from visiting her mother and disowned her when she did.
“My set had spies reporting back to him. So whenever I visit Mum her, they call to inform him about it. I was in JHS by then and my mum had no one else so I visited her after school sometimes. When I got back from school, he confronted me and slapped me but hit my eye instead,” Hilda recalled.
She went to recall the consequence of his actions. Hilda stated that “he let me out of his house and I went back to stay with my mom. A few days later, my eyesight became blurry and had to be operated on.”
According to Hilda, initial efforts to reach out to her father proved futile. Eventually, the eye specialist compelled her father to pay for the bills.
Hilda presently lives with her mother who sells pie and cocoa drinks. Hilda has always wanted to become a caterer but her dream suffered a huge blow after her eye injury.
