Bukom Banku’s wish to bury the late mother in the capital has been destroyed.
Speaking with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Bukom indicated that his family disagreed to have his mother’s burial service in Accra due to undisclosed reasons.
”Most people know my mother in Accra. People also know me in Accra but the family says I should come and do everything at Awukugua,” he said.
He added that after the burial service is done in his hometown, he will organise a little service for loved ones in Accra.
”I will do something small for friends in Accra. Those that cannot travel to Awukugua,” Bukom added.
The burial service is scheduled for July 16 and 17 at Awukugua in the Eastern region.
