Brother of the alleged thief who was forced to sing has indicated that there are worse people than his sibling but he was judged because he went viral.
Speaking on SVTV Africa, Nana Otu revealed that his brother, Henry is not a thief but a recovering drug addict. Due to his addiction, he barely supports himself.
The former Winneba Youth Choir member added that he hopes to help his brother recover from his addiction but his brother has to do the difficult part.
”I felt bad when I saw the video but it was the situation. Because other people are worse than he is but because of social media, he has become a bad person.”
It became a huge issue in Winneba because we are both popular here because of the choirs we joined. But it is slowly dying down,” Akoo Show Choir member said.
He further stated that the family is ever ready to help him but he depends on him as well.
