Hannah Mawusi is a Tema-based seamstress who shares with SVTV Africa the trauma of being a victim of sexual assault by a law enforcer.
Speaking with DJ Nyaami, Hannah indicated that at some point after the incident, she became violent towards men. The thought of killing came to mind at the slightest feeling of pain from the opposite sex.
”It was easy at all. I was so hurt and always on guard, to the extent that I thought of killing any man that hurt me.
The first sex experience after he raped me was also scary for me. It was difficult to get into the act but I realized that not all men are like him,” Hannah disclosed.
A quick flashback reveals that 15-year-old Hannah was brought home by a policeman under the guise of running an errand. Little did Hannah know that she would lose her virginity to him.
Moreover, the case was trashed after her parents were bribed with 1000 Ghana Cedis from the police officer. Though Hannah does not blame her parents, she wishes that the case was reported.
