CEO of Glam and Glossy salon, Belinda Twum has revealed that after high school, she studied nursing and also passenger handling respectively but failed to pursue it.
After several failed attempts of securing a job in both fields, she disclosed to SVTV Africa that she decided to turn her passion into a career.
”I remember I used to tell my family and teachers that I want to be a hairdresser. They always laughed at me and my dad sometimes got angry.
But after failing to secure a job, I chose to add this to my necklace and bracelets business,” Belinda said.
Presently, she has one of the sought-after beauty salons in Accra with several employees.
Belinda advised young women to stay true to themselves, work diligently, and not look to sugar daddies.
