Micheal Akwasi Agyare has had his middle and ring fingers separated with the help of the SVTV Africa Foundation.
A few weeks ago, Michael’s mom, Stella pleaded with Ghanaians to help his son who was considering the thought of cutting his finger due to stigma.
The surgery was done on March 10, at Hawa Memorial Savior Hospital in Koforidua free of charge. According to the officers at the hospital, it is a way of giving back to the community.
Through SVTV Africa Foundation, Stella and her son leave the hospital with smiles and full of gratitude.
Speaking to Dr. Oppong, he added that they are ready to partner with SVTV Africa to help save lives.
