Organizers of the Ghana Music Awards USA 2021 on Thursday, December 17 convened at Omanye Hall in Accra with the media and some stakeholders.
At the press engagement, the CEO of GMA USA Dennis Boafo started the scheme seeks to encourage and project Ghanaian artistes in the USA.
”The Ghana Music Awards USA aims at encouraging and recognising Ghanaian musicians in the diaspora, especially in the US to actively participate in promoting and celebrating Ghana music, ” Dennis Boafo said.
Speaking on the credibility of the award scheme,
Mr Dennis Boafo mentioned the members of the Academy and board. The Board is made up of Slip Music CEO Mark Okraku Mantey, Kwesi Ernest of Media Excel Productions, celebrated music producer Kwame Micky, sound engineer Fred Kyei Mensah, and a host of others
Radio and TV personality, MzGee was named the country rep for the scheme and GEM Media the official media partners.
