Daniela Nicol, the Executive Director of Mind Matters; a Non-governmental Organization which provides Mental Health Service with the objective of increasing emotional counselling and Mental Health workshops for its professionals, on the 25th August, 2020, has donated a wheelchair to Madam Zuwaira Adam.
The president of the Social Workers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Mr. Exorgbe A.K. Divine, who received the wheelchair from Mind Matters, thanked them for their kind gesture.
“This wheelchair will be donated to Madam Zuwaira Adamu because of her stroke; something we believe will aid her mobility”. He said.
The later receiver of the said item, Mr. Archibald Mensah, Municipal Head of Social Welfare and Community Development Department in Ashiaman, through the assembly member of Asensu Bar Electoral Area, Hon. Saviour Kufordzi, donated it to the family.
On behalf the family, Hon. Saviour also thanked Mind Matters, SWAG and Social Welfare; pledging to make sure the wheelchair is put into good use.
