Ghanaian highlife musician, Kwaw Kese has clarified issues regarding a supposed ‘planned beef between artiste manager, Bull Dog and his late manager, Fennec Okyere.
Bulldog was a prime suspect following the death of Fenec Okyere due to his constant threats to the late artiste manager in the media.
In an interview on UTV last week, Bull Dog, who is the manager of Shatta Wale claimed that his attacks on Kwaw Kese’s ex-manager were planned.
The CEO of BullHouse said, “I had a friend Fennec Okyere who was also an artiste manager. They said I was the prime suspect when he was killed. We had a planned “beef” to remain relevant as artistes managers but we were friends. What we used to do was if we are going on radio, we discuss the tangent both sides will go so that we can attack each other and create a perception in the minds of the people. Sometimes even when I’m not on the show he will attack me and later call me to tell me what transpired so that if I also appear on another show I can fire him too.”
But reacting to the assertions of Bull Dog in an interview on Joy Fm, the four-time Ghana Music Awards winner denied knowledge of any planned attack between his former manager and Bull Dog.
According to Kwaw Kese, the CEO of Bullhouse is fond of creating a rift between musicians for his personal interest, an issue Kwaw Kese believes is the reason why Bull Dog has not excelled in managing artistes.
“Bull Dog has never been straight. Bull dog was with Iwan, Five5, VIP, Shatta, it didn’t go anywhere. They broke up, Shatta made it and Bull Dog came back to hang on it, Kwaw Kese said in the interview monitored by Ghanaweb.
He added, “Bull Dog has never been grateful sometimes I don’t want to talk about it. It was through Fennec who inspired Bull Dog to become an artiste manager, there was nothing like we planning anything, that is what he is doing.”
“He started with a beef with VIP, he started to create a beef between me and VIP, he tried to create a beef between me and Shatta and all those things, that’s their job, that’s what they do to keep their hype going,” the Dondo hitmaker went on to say.
Kwaw Kese noted that it was high time Bull Dog put a stop to his behavior to show his maturity in the industry.
He said, “Everything I do is real, I got arrested and it was real but they plan, let’s go and insult Wizkid after that we will go and apologize but me I’m never apologetic to my doings because we are real, so he should come back again, what is he talking about? He’s always doing things for attention but he grow pass that, he for stop. The people he managed have something going on with him now, it shows that he didn’t do anything for them.”
Kwak Kese who is stuck in abroad due to the coronavirus revealed that the release of his ‘Victory’ album has been postponed to his birthday, October 7th.
The Man insane further added that the death of his former manager” is something that has affected my career and it will be there for life, at the mention of his name, deep within me I feel some pain.”
