The discussion on how to project gospel music in Ghana to the international world has been on a lot of media platforms and the latest personality to comment on the issue is international evangelist, Dr Lawrence Tetteh.
Dr Tetteh has admonished Ghanaian gospel musicians to at least belong to a church.
The debate, which was sparked by award-winning radio/TV broadcast journalist and host of Onua 95.1 FM’s entertainment talk show ‘Anigye Mmre’, Christian Agyei Frimpong, has gained attention on almost all entertainment talk shows in the country.
Commenting on the way forward to project Ghanaian gospel music, Dr Tetteh advised gospel musicians to make sure they belong to a church.
He then said they must have a pastor who will chastise and encourage them whenever they go wrong.
Finally, Dr Lawrence Tetteh said it is about time that gospel musicians prayed for unity because the enemy wants to create tension between Patience Nyarko and Joe Mettle, for instance.
