Renowned music producer and engineer, Awal Alhassan known in showbiz circles as Posigee has shared a word of advice to his colleagues in the music industry against lavish spending especially in their hay days.
Posigee in a post on Social Media monitored by SVTV Africa has advised his colleague entertainers especially the young ones not to use all their lifetime savings on girls, drinks and drugs, and go back to nothing when the fun is over.
According to him, that will be the only remedy to help solve stingy and fake tags on innocent people.
Definitely, many celebrities in Ghana spends lavishly on virtually needless things just to show off on social media and prove they are rich while in real life they are dead-broke and some living on handouts.
Posigee’s post read “Most of us complain there is no money in ghana music industry but when we get the opportunity to make it big we use it on girls drinks and drugs, we have no words to describe what the future holds and how insecure we are for the future and yet we want to wear things to please anyone who does not have a say in our lives, we turn blinds eyes to advice and channel our energy to anyone who try to warn us about the future,we depend on external happiness and fantasy which causes us harm in the near future when we cannot afford to pay to have again.. then later try to blame family and friends… this is a lil advice to my colleagues. Set ur mind right. Happiness can be achieved with less effort thank you.”
So to our cherished musicians, you have no justifiable reason to spend lavishly just to impress someone. Live withing your means and secure your future financially.
