Deputy Transport Minister and Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has outlined the tremendous efforts of the GFA in bringing back Colts football especially in Tema.
Hon. Titus Glover believes the Kurt Okraku led administration deserves commendation for re-introducing the juvenile football in Ghana with league games expected to commence after the Coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Titus Glover noted that, colts football will help revitalize the passion of football in Ghana.
“If the current FA wants to bring back colts football, then it’s a good course. Football has been in my family since time immemorial, so any body who has that vision to bring back colts football, then it’s laudable. It will help boost the passion of football in Ghana and we are also ready to offer our help in anyway.” Hon. Glover said.
The Tema East MP also pointed out that, there are couple of new pitches in Tema while some are still under construction to augment the passion of football in the city.
“Now we have lots of parks in Tema, I’m working on some parks myself to keep the people together. My friend and colleague Hon. Kofi Brago has also constructed about four parks. The Prisco park, Valco park, Community 9 park and the Community 11 park have all been renovated beautifully. So when we start the colts football we’ll have some parks to use and these few parks are good for colts football. Hon. Titus said.
Titus, who is a ardent lover of football, promised to do everything in his powers to bring back the passion of football in Tema.
