Actress and Social Media Influencer, Andrea Owusu, also known as Efia Odo has thrown tantrums at Ghanaians, describing some of them as ”fake ass people”.
Efia Odo, in her emotional outburst, claimed about ”99.999% are hypocrites” preaching virtue but practicing vice.
Her comments come on the heels of various beefs that have struck the core of the entertainment industry in Ghana with musicians beefing each other and actors calling one another names and raining insults on each other.
First, it was Rapper Sarkodie releasing a single dubbed ”SubZero” which many entertainment fanatics found it to be a diss song directed at Rapper Asem and Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
In a fit of anger, Shatta Wale also picked on the originator of Ghana’s hiplife grandpapa Reggie Rockstone and later used unsavoury words on Sarkodie and his predeccessor. Just when the beef was fading away, then the female artistes took their turn with singer Sista Afia coming out with a song titled ”WMT” shading some female personalities in showbiz.
Sista Afia was seen to be dissing Vanessa Deborah, known in music circles as Sister Derby, and like an inferno, the flame caught up with social media addict Akuapem Poloo who made an Instagram post casting aspersions directly targeted at Sista Afia for what Akuapem Poloo thinks is overstepping of her boundaries.
Trading words with Akuapem Poloo, Sista Afia made an anonymous post saying ”you have been naked for 3 years on social media and still single, Sis get dressed” and although she didn’t direct it to any person specifically, rumors had it that she may be referring to Akuapem Poloo; so the latter took her to the cleaners.
“And how many years have you been naked on social media and still fucking friend’s boyfriend and DJs, aboataa; bring yourself and you will see. stupid fool, can you tell your real age? foolish pig ?”, Akuapem Poloo replied Sista Afia.
Of course, the entertainment industry has become hotter as Comedian Funny Face today took to his Instagram to spill ”dirty” beans about actors Lil Win, Kalybos and Bismark The Joke accusing them of denting his image and trying to sabotage him.
One doesn’t actually know what has fueled all these squabbles but according to Efia Odo, it appears Ghanaians only relish the idea of celebrities fighting each other but would not support their good works.
”The same energy these fans, celebs and bloggers use to support beef should be used when these ladies drop their singles. All emojis, comments and support y’all leave these on bloggers pages when it’s beef dier I wonder where it goes when these ladies drop their singles. Fake ass people”, Efia Odo exclaimed.
She also wondered how people could pick up their bibles to read and yet go on ravenous hunt for celebrities picking on each other and salivating over their hot exchanges whereas when it comes to their talent and craft, the support base is near extinction.
Efia Odo left an unapologetic note for all Ghanaians stating emphatically; ”Y’all are and that’s why I will unapologetically continue to live my life. OH GOD I AM HOLIER THAN YOUR MODERN DAY CHRISTIAN!! I just chose to exhibit my life to the public eye. None of you are virgins, most of you are worst in your private homes. Support your artists and stop the nkwasiasem”.
