Frank Amagartse disclosed the police service is no longer in control of arm robbers and their dealings , " there are countless police personnels in prison now for supporting and aiding crime in the nation". The mantel for fishing out and arresting criminals should be placed on the shoulders of the state , prisoners and the streets , he boldly said
But one will ask , who is the state?, why leave national security in the hands of the people on the streets and prisoners , He quickly said before SVTV AFRICA's host "Osuani Afrifa" met him for the live chat, he had received a call from the prison seeking his opinion on current matters on the streets of Ghana and how he thinks they can be solved.
Sounding sure of himself and what he is talking about , the ex convict revealed , the streets knows the criminals , the prisoners knows the chief commanders of each robbery gang ,therefore its left for the government to provide these people with the right logistics , so they can help apprehend criminals. Looking at yesterday's arm robbery case in Tema , there was a tip off by an informant, giving out the time , location and amount being carried by the victim. He hinted.
