Ex-Doe says he was once a slave to weed and Alcohol.

Speaking to host of Kasapa Fm's Aben wo ha show Gatusso,the hip life pioneer revealed that weed and alcohol were his best buddies.

"I used to sniff about two rolls of weed three times daily and take lots of alcohol." Ex-Doe stated.

Although the one time Hiplife sensation kept mute on names of musicians into weed, he boldly stated that for most musicians to stay strong in the Music Industry they take in weed.


He continued refute claims which states that weed makes one behave extremely out of control.

According to him the intake of weed make one calm, however one tends to works assiduously after its intake.


Ex-Doe who has been released from the bondage of drugs thanked God for his life.

Hiplife artiste and Chief Executive Officer of NK studios and pub, Nhyiraba Kojo has advised veteran musicians to back off and pave way for young and rising artistes.

Nhyiraba Kojo is of the view that the presence of older musicians like X-DO, Tic-Tac and Aberewa Nana has halted the success of the new crop of artists in the Music Industry.

"Truthfully speaking retiring in the Music Industry is difficult but I entreat my fellow experienced musicians to take the bold step and retire."Nhyiraba Kojo told broadcaster Evans Amewugah in an interview with SVTV Africa.

I’ve not received a pesewa as royalties – Abrewa Nana

 Ghanaian  singer, songwriter and dancer Dorcas Opoku Dakwa known professionally as Abrewa Nana says during the reign of current MUSIGA President Obour she has never stepped foot at the premises of MUSIGA.

Aberewa Nana who was bold to state that she is no longer a member of the umbrella group that seeks to unite Ghanaian musicians irrespective of their music genre.

In an interview with SVTV Africa, Abrewa Nana revealed that Ghanaian musicians don't receive any royalties from GHAMRO.

"Bob Marley is dead and gone but his family receive money from his music frequently,meanwhile we are alive yet we don't receive even a pesewa from our music." she angrily stated.

The former Idol judge sadly prayed that the industry doesn't rubbish pioneer musicians are not forgotten in the Music Industry as time goes in.

Known privately as Omar Sterling in an interview with broadcaster Evans Amewugah explained that their absence on the Ghana meets Najia list is due to the fact that the team is busy recording an album.

" People compliment my voice and urge me to sing R&B but at the end of the day it doesn't fetch enough money to put food on the table." Kurl Songz revealed in an interview on SVTV CHAT hosted by SVTV Africa host Evans Amewugah.

Highly Spiritual Music signee Kurl Songz says the Music Industry needs investors in order to produce quality music videos.

Comparing Nigeria's Music Industry to Ghana Kurl Songz indicated that although Ghanaian musicians have better singers Nigeria has good music videos making them soar higher.

Speaking to SVTV Africa, the twenty four year old dynamic vocalist explained that "without quality music videos Ghana's music won't be on the global front."


"We have good directors but we lack the right equipment to shoot world standard videos to push our music to the world." he added. Kurl Songz indicated that Ghanaian artistes are good and prepared to shoot quality music videos but due to lack of investors Nigerian musicians are always ahead in the game and hailed for good music to videos.

OKYEAME KWAME CONTINUOSLY LASHED AT ME WHEN I LANDED IN TROUBLE - WISA GREID

Hiplife artiste Wisa Greid known in real life as Eugene Ashie says big musicians in the Ghanaian Music Industry took to social media to criticize him when he was dragged to court for exposing his manhood on stage during his performance.

Speaking to Gatusso on the Aben wo ha show aired on Kasapa Fm, an Accra based radio station Wisa explained that although some respected musicians spoke to him and motivated him others like the "Rap doctor" Okyeame Kwame lambasted him and lashed out bad stuff about him on social media platforms.

"I have lost memory of his exact words but I clearly remember he was among the people who criticized me when I landed in trouble " Wisa said

The "Ekikime hitmaker " added that he was very disappointed in Okyeame Kwame because he did not expect such words from him.
