Popular Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah says to be asked to help take care of the girl child is a great privilege.

Speaking in an interview with SVTV Africa host Evans Amewugah at a conference at the office of the First Lady organized to celebrate women; Jackie stated that it is her passion to help women instead of partying with friends.

Jackie Aygemang Appiah (born 5 December 1983) is a Canadian-born Ghanaian actress. For her work as an actress, she has received several awards and nominations, including the awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards; and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2007.
