I'M THE ONLY ARTIST IN GHANA WITH A LOYAL FAN BASE - FANCY GADAM

Tamale based hiplife artiste, Ahjmed Mujahid Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam claims he is the only artist in Ghana with a loyal fan base.

Speaking with SVTV CHAT host Abena Amankwah Afrifa, Fancy Gadam said his loyal fans voted for him to win in the song of the year category with his song "Total Cheat."

"Everybody deserves to win but it's about numbers, it's about votes and who has loyal fan base and the whole Ghana I'm the only one who has a loyal fan base." Fancy Gadam stated in an interview with SVTV Africa.

STRONGMAN IS NOT MY FRIEND -TEEPHLOW

Ghanaian hip-hop artiste Teephlow says Strongman is not his comrades.

In an interview with Caleb Nii Boi on SVTV AFRICA Teephlow explained that although he is not "beefing" Sarkcess music signee Strongman, he is not friends with the "charcoal" hit maker.

The PREACH singer added that he has no friends in the Music Industry and he does only business with colleagues in the Music Industry.
"There are no friends in the industry, I don't do friends in the industry it's just people I do business with after business it's done. " Teephlow stated

Hip Hop artiste Teephlow has revealed that record label Spyder Lee entertainment came to his aid at the time he needed finances.

According to Teephlow, he didn't get off his manager Hammer rather there was an agreement between Hammer and Spyder Lee entertainment ,a decision which saw him signed unto Spyder Lee entertainment.

The State of the Art artiste added that big names with money like Nana Appiah Mensah are needed in the entertainment industry to help young artists soar.

"We need people like Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom ,Nana Appiah Mensah in the entertainment industry to help young ones get to the top" Teephlow told broadcaster Caleb Nii Boi in an interview on SVTV AFRICA

"I'VE NEVER ATTENDED A MUSIGA MEETING"- TEEPHLOW

Spyder Lee entertainment signee has made a shocking revelation after he stated in an interview with SVTV AFRICA that he has never being to Amy meeting organized by MUSIGA.

Additionally, he responded in negatively when he was asked if he pays his dues.
"I don't know if I pay my dues. " Teephlow stated.

Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) is an umbrella group that unites all musicians in Ghana irrespective of their genres.

STONEBWOY’S SONG WITH SEAN PAUL MUST BE PROMOTED INTERNATIONALLY - TIC

Born Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah and known in the showbiz circle as Tic says Stonebwoy’s song with Sean Paul is a good song that should be promoted in Ghana to help the Ghanaian music industry go international.

Speaking in an interview with broadcaster Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa Tic formerly known as Tic Tac stressed that Stonebwoy’s Most Original song on his Epistles of Mama Album which features Sean Paul is a song which clearly has an international mark and must be promoted.

“I don’t know why Stonebwoy has a song with Sean Paul and music lovers are not playing that to be promoted instead they are promoting other songs of his.” Tic stated

Although Tic added that other songs of Stonebwoy is good his Most Original song should be given maximum attention,

Tic continued to say that Ghanaians are always of the view that the Ghanaian music does not have international recognition yet Ghanaians are very “hard-hearted” in doing something to help fellow citizens.

“That song has Sean Paul who is also an international act and is recognized globally which would easily help Stonebwoy Most Original song gain international market.

 The energetic musician Tic has made a bounce back in the music industry with his song titled Pene Mame which features Odo hitmaker Kidi.

I NEED TO TOUR "VILLAGES" IN GHANA-DADA KD

Highlife singer Dada KD says there is the need for him to tour "villages" in the country.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Dada KD explained that making music in big towns doesn't make inhabitants of "villages" feel loved by musicians. He revealed that he has plans of celebrating his music career journey in the villages because he finds joy in that better than being hailed by folks in the city.

"I need a company to support me and help me tour all villages in the country." Dada KD stated

Dada KD is currently based in Germany but comes to Ghana more often to promote his music. He has released nine albums including his hit album " Somgye" According to him, his music is greatly influenced by Nana Adumako Nyamekye and Micheal Bolton.

VGMA MUST IMPROVE-NANA KD

"VGMA shouldn't just pick any genre and promote it, I just don't understand the authenticity in the VGMA." This were the words of high life singer Nana KD in an interview with SVTV Africa.

Nana KD added that hip life should be the highest dominating genre in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. 

" Ghanaians should simply support their own during awards, we have great singers in Ghana but we confidently go in for other singers in other countries and flaunt them." Nana KD furiously stated.

He further lambasted award scheme Charter house for their shabby work in nominating artistes for some categories.

" The African art of the year for instance is not needed at all it should stay in our country in order to make our artiste work harder." he added.

SURVIVAL IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS DIFFICULT-DADA KD

Veteran highlife musician Dada KD says getting sufficient income in the Ghanaian music industry is very tough.

Dada KD explained that during his reign in the music industry, he didn't acquire enough income instead love and passion is what kept him surviving in the music industry. He explained that any Ghanaian artiste who says firmly that he or she is surviving solely on the income generated from his music career is a liar.

"Before God and man truth be told, Ghanaian musicians can never do music and survive in the present day Ghanaian music industry." Dada KD stated

He further advised upcoming artiste to save and invest their incomes they reap from their growing music career for future support.

RELIGION IS JUST A LABEL- DADA KD

Dada KD says religion is just a label Ghanaians tag themselves with to behave hypocritically.

In an interview with broadcaster Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa Dada KD explained that if Ghanaians avoid religion and desist from behaving hypocritically,Ghana would be a better place to be.

Born Dada Kwakye Duah advised the Ghanaians to put away the spirit of fear because "their" Bibles advised "them" to do away with fear 365 times. He added that because of modernisation everyone wants to become popular the cheap way.

"If we detach ourselves from these religions and behave without hypocrisy Ghana would be a better place for us all."
