PATAPAA REPRESENTS ONE SIDE OF GHANA MUSIC - OMAR STERLING (R2BEES)

Popular Ghanaian rapper Paedae in an interview with SVTV Africa says "one corner" artist Patapaa holds a section of Ghanaian Music and he has come to push the Music Industry.

Known privately as Omar Sterling in an interview with broadcaster Evans Amewugah explained that their absence on the Ghana meets Najia list is due to the fact that the team is busy recording an album.
"Organizers of Ghana meets Najia contacted us but we are busy with an album" Omar sterling added

He continued to say that dance hall in the country is impressive and doing great in the Music Industry.

Omar sterling made these statements at the karaoke night of Kikibees restaurant lounge and pub where Patapaaa made an impressive performance.

popular Gospel musician Gifty Osei surprised mourners present at the one week celebration of high life Legend Jewel Ackah.

Gifty Osei who was clad in a red and black funeral cloth joined AB Crenstil and other back up singers on stage to perform high life song Papa Shamo

Musician and supporter of the National Democratic Congress, Jewel Ackah who had been battling stroke and other sicknesses for over 10 years now passed away at his home in the late hours of Friday April 27. 

Present at his one week celebration was Former President Mahama, high life musician Amanzeba,MUSIGA president Obuor, AB Crenstil and other public figures.

The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, has refuted the assumption that lottery is a sin.

The man of God in an interview with Gatusso on the Aben Wo ha show aired on Kasapa Fm argued that lottery is just a sport and cannot be considered as sinful because the Bible doesn't condemn it in any way.


Prophet Badu Kobi answering a question posed by Gatusso, he continued to say the same pastors who term lottery as sinful accept American Visa Lottery when they win and travel outside the country.

"Lottery is just a sport , if you are considering it as a sin you should ask yourself if the Bible condemned it."Prophet Kobi added

I MINGLE WITH GAME BOYS- KURL SONGX

Ghanaian prolific RnB and high life singer Kurl Songz has denied claims that he is into frauding.

Although he explained that he is not a "game boy" he mingles with game boys and sees nothing wrong with people who are into the act.

"I have friends who are game boys, they are humans and I see nothing wrong with being friends with them." Kurl Songz stated in an interview with SVTV Africa

He added that rumours about him being a fraudster doesn't hurt him.

Kurl Songz Was The 1st Runner up at Vodafone Icons- Street Edition in 2013 and later joined MTN hit maker season 5 where he won.

KAYWA NURTURED ME INTO COMMERCIAL MUSIC - KURL SONGX

Winner of MTN hit maker season 5 2016 says although he has passion and a great voice for R&B , the music genre does not provide enough money.

" People compliment my voice and urge me to sing R&B but at the end of the day it doesn't fetch enough money to put food on the table." Kurl Songz revealed in an interview on SVTV CHAT hosted by SVTV Africa host Evans Amewugah.

The budding high life musician continued to say that highly acclaimed music producer nurtured him and introduced him to commercial music.

"I've learnt how to make hit songs and that's what gives me enough money." Kaywa added.

INVESTORS MAKING NIGERIAN VIDEOS LOOK GOOD - KURL SONGX

Highly Spiritual Music signee Kurl Songz says the Music Industry needs investors in order to produce quality music videos.

Comparing Nigeria's Music Industry to Ghana Kurl Songz indicated that although Ghanaian musicians have better singers Nigeria has good music videos making them soar higher.

Speaking to SVTV Africa, the twenty four year old dynamic vocalist explained that "without quality music videos Ghana's music won't be on the global front."


"We have good directors but we lack the right equipment to shoot world standard videos to push our music to the world." he added. Kurl Songz indicated that Ghanaian artistes are good and prepared to shoot quality music videos but due to lack of investors Nigerian musicians are always ahead in the game and hailed for good music to videos.

I BROKE MY VIRGINITY AT AGE 17-KURL SONGX

Twenty-four year old singer Kurl Songz has revealed when he became sexually active.

The "Jennifer Lomotey" singer, said he lost his virginity to a woman older than him at the age of 17.

According to Kurl Songz, he was curious to find out the pleasure one gets during intimacy.
" As a young guy there was a lot of pressure to have sex and curiosity kills the cat so the opportunity came and I grabbed it" Kurl Songz told Evans Amewugah on SVTV Chat.

Kurl Songx is the winner of MTN Hitmaker season 5 in 2016. He released his first single ‘Jeniffer Lomotey’ which features Ghana’s ‘Highest’ rapper Sarkodie.

STONEBWOY ASSURES UPCOMING ARTISTE OF HIS SUPPORT

Ghanaian energetic Dance hall artiste Stonebwoy says he would offer his support to young ones who have the passion to pursue music as their career.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on SVTV AFRICA at the 8th edition of the annual Empire Entertainment organized event, Ghana Meets Naija which was launched on Tuesday, May 8th in Accra at the First Atlantic Bank forecourt at Airport. The singer revealed he will support every new artist and bring them to the front burner.

Although Stonebwoy avoided commenting on his hullabaloo issue with Zylofon media he boldly stated that any body ready to book him should go to his management and not Zylofon media

Performing artistes from Ghana include dancehall act Stonebwoy, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Fancy Gadam, Patapaa and Ponobiom who are known for their show stopping performances and representing Nigeria are Wizkid, Mayourkun and Mr Eazi were all made known at the press launch.
