I NEED TO TOUR "VILLAGES" IN GHANA-DADA KD

Highlife singer Dada KD says there is the need for him to tour "villages" in the country.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Dada KD explained that making music in big towns doesn't make inhabitants of "villages" feel loved by musicians. He revealed that he has plans of celebrating his music career journey in the villages because he finds joy in that better than being hailed by folks in the city.

"I need a company to support me and help me tour all villages in the country." Dada KD stated

Dada KD is currently based in Germany but comes to Ghana more often to promote his music. He has released nine albums including his hit album " Somgye" According to him, his music is greatly influenced by Nana Adumako Nyamekye and Micheal Bolton.

VGMA MUST IMPROVE-NANA KD

"VGMA shouldn't just pick any genre and promote it, I just don't understand the authenticity in the VGMA." This were the words of high life singer Nana KD in an interview with SVTV Africa.

Nana KD added that hip life should be the highest dominating genre in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. 

" Ghanaians should simply support their own during awards, we have great singers in Ghana but we confidently go in for other singers in other countries and flaunt them." Nana KD furiously stated.

He further lambasted award scheme Charter house for their shabby work in nominating artistes for some categories.

" The African art of the year for instance is not needed at all it should stay in our country in order to make our artiste work harder." he added.

SURVIVAL IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS DIFFICULT-DADA KD

Veteran highlife musician Dada KD says getting sufficient income in the Ghanaian music industry is very tough.

Dada KD explained that during his reign in the music industry, he didn't acquire enough income instead love and passion is what kept him surviving in the music industry. He explained that any Ghanaian artiste who says firmly that he or she is surviving solely on the income generated from his music career is a liar.

"Before God and man truth be told, Ghanaian musicians can never do music and survive in the present day Ghanaian music industry." Dada KD stated

He further advised upcoming artiste to save and invest their incomes they reap from their growing music career for future support.

RELIGION IS JUST A LABEL- DADA KD

Dada KD says religion is just a label Ghanaians tag themselves with to behave hypocritically.

In an interview with broadcaster Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa Dada KD explained that if Ghanaians avoid religion and desist from behaving hypocritically,Ghana would be a better place to be.

Born Dada Kwakye Duah advised the Ghanaians to put away the spirit of fear because "their" Bibles advised "them" to do away with fear 365 times. He added that because of modernisation everyone wants to become popular the cheap way.

"If we detach ourselves from these religions and behave without hypocrisy Ghana would be a better place for us all."

 

DADDY LUMBA IS NOT MY ROLE MODEL- DADA KD

Contemporary highlife musician Dada Kwakye Duah popularly known in the showbiz industry as Dada KD has cleared the airwaves with rumours which states that he has a "beef" with highlife musician Daddy Lumba

Speaking with SVTV Africa on SVTV Chat with broadcaster Evans Amewugah, Dada KD explained that because Daddy Lumba took the lead in the music industry , Ghanaians have the ideology that he Dada KD is trying to imitate what Daddy Lumba started.

Additionally, he stated that in life definitely people would have things in common. 

The "Somgye" singer emphatically explained that Daddy Lumba is not someone he looks up to in the music industry.

"I respect Daddy Lumba and I like him but he is not someone who motivates me in the music industry ." Dada KD stated.

Dada KD was adjudged the best Male Vocal Artist (Ghana Music Awards) in Britain in the year 2004 by Ghanaian Residents in Britain.

SAMINI LIKES LADIES WITH BIG BUTTOCKS - STEPHANIE BENSON

Screen goddess Stephanie Benson has revealed she has nothing to do with musician Samini.
In an interview with SVTV Africa Stephanie explained that Samini is a man who has interest in voluptuous ladies , a category she is no where near.
"I'm not the type of lady Samini would have interest in, he's a man who likes big breasts and buttocks and I stand no where near to that" Stephanie Benson stated

Some intimate pictures of the two surfaced on social media with people speculating that the two were engaged in something more than work but the 50 year old singer disclosed that they were professional and nothing apart from work happened.
"In the music video Give me one more where we kissed we were just on the acting field and we had to kiss to make music lovers feel it's reality" -Stephanie added

Stephanie described Samini as a professional adding that she will never cheat on her husband who has been the only man she has dated since she was nineteen.

GHANAIAN MANGERS DON’T REALLY KNOW HOW TO MANAGE AN ARTISTE-STEPHAINIE BENSON

UK based Ghanaian international singer Stephanie Benson says not all Ghanaian managers in the music industry have the ski to manage an artiste very well.

Speaking to Evans Amewugah on SVT V Africa, Stephanie explained that the role of an artiste manager is to ensure that the artiste under his watch has a comfortable life but that is not the case with most Ghanaian managers.

“Some of the managers don’t know how to manage, I think the duty of a manager is to ensure that the artiste is comfortable at all times but I don’t see that in the Ghanaian music industry.” Stephamie stated

However, she mentioned Kiki Banson manager of Ghanaian singer Becca as one of the musicians trying their best to make their artistes comfortable.

Stephanie Benson has been described by many as the queen of jazz.

Ghanaian musician says her marriage has been doing well for over a decade because she would never try cheating on her husband.

EBONY HAS BEEN SOLD TO THE DEVIL- PROPHET KUMCHACHA

Prophet Kumchacha says the late dance hall artiste Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng known in the showbiz circle as Ebony reigns has been sold to agents of the underworld by her family members.

Speaking in an interview with Evans Amewugah on SVTV, Prophet Kumchacha explained that the death of Ebony is an arrangement between her family members and the satanic world; stressing that Ebony’s soul was used as sacrifice to appease devil.

Additionally, Kumchacha indicated that the black coffin which was used to bury the late Ebony is a clear sign that Ebony’s family has a strong covenant with the dark world.

“The color of the coffin Ebony was buried in is a clear indication that she has been sold to the devil, under normal circumstances who would be buried in a black coffin?” Prophet Kumchacha rhetorically asked

Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng died in a gruesome accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani road on 8th Febuary, 2018 with her friend Franky Kuri and Lane Corporal Atsu Vondee when they were returning from a visit to Ebony’s mother.
