I WAS SURPRISED "ONE CORNER" DID NOT WIN THE MOST POPULAR SONG OF THE YEAR - REX OMAR

Veteran musician, Rex Owusu Marfo aka Rex Omar has stated on Kasapa Fm in an interview with host of “Aben wo ha”show, Gattuso that he is surprised that Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ did not receive most popular song of the year award.

Although he expressed his disappointment about the awards, Rex Omar said Patapaa’s fans should have voted massively for him since the VGMA’s is all about the most popular song.

Explaining how the awards are given, he said the general public must understand that until they vote for their favorite artiste they will always complain about the awards.

He said the VGMA’s is all about the popularity of the song combined with massive voting.

 

3000 DOLLARS IS ENOUGH PAYMENT FOR A SHORT SHOW- NERO X

Born Joseph Nkrumah Buabeng and known in showbiz as Nero X has revealed that he takes averagely three thousand dollars for performing at a show for some few minutes.

Speaking in an interview with SVTV Africa, the "oseey" hit maker stated that he doesn't scare clients with his charges.

Ghanaian musician Nero-X has aired his view on the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to him "one corner" hit maker Patapaa deserves an award in the most popular song of the year category because Patapaa's music has toured all over the world.

"They claim votes are taken into consideration in awarding an artiste for a particular category, but how sure are we?" Nero X stated in an interview with Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa's SVTV Chat

Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah in an interview with SVTV Africa says Ghanaian celebrity Moesha through her utterance in an interview with CNN has degraded the Ghanaian public.

An eighty five seconds video of social media queen Moesha Buodong in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour generated an outrage among the Ghanaian society and Vicky Zugah is not an exception.

Vicky Zugah stated that Moesha's statement on a huge platform like CNN has made citizens of Ghana look like lazy people in the eyes of others.

Moesha Buodong who was featured in Amanpour's Sex and Love Around the World Series made statements which suggested that women are unable to make ends meet in Ghana without requesting for favours from men.

Vicky Zugah told SVTV's Evans Amewugah that although Moesha's utterance is a routine for some in Ghana, generalising it brings Ghana's flag down.

"She had a great platform to say what she wanted to say but next time she should try and use words like Some, Most instead of generalizing it" Vicky added

Popular Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah in an exclusive interview with SVTV Africa has revealed that she has no plans of getting married.

Speaking to SVTV star chat host Evans Amewugah the dynamic host explained that her field of job in particular would make it difficult for her to get married.
" Marriage is not meant for everyone , stories from failed marriages are major factors that discourage me from getting married. " Vicky explained

Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugar has expressed her disappointment in the organisers of the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for rewarding the late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng  popularly called Ebony after her death.

According to her the late Ebony was a good musician without any doubts but rewarding her after her death is needless.

Kasapa Fm's morning show host Fiifi Banson says being a morning show host comes with its own challenges.

Speaking to SVTV Africa the versatile broadcaster explained that transitioning from a drive time host to a morning show host is not an easy one.

"For a drive time show you can host it easily and listeners would be satisfied but a morning show is a hard issue and listeners may brand you as a member of party A or B making it difficult for listeners to accept the change in my career " Fiifi Banson stated

Fiifi Banson ended his 15 years stay at Peace FM as a drive time host to EIB network's Kasapa Fm.
